Our Commitment to Responsible Email Communication
Nivano Physicians sends email communications to subscribers who have opted in to receive healthcare information, Medicare enrollment updates, provider network news, and other relevant content. We are committed to complying with the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7704) and all applicable laws governing commercial email.
What Types of Emails We Send
Subscribers to our newsletter may receive:
- Healthcare news and resources — preventive care tips, wellness information, and health education content relevant to our Medicare and Medi-Cal patient communities
- Medicare enrollment updates — Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) reminders, plan availability updates, and enrollment deadlines
- Network announcements — new providers joining the Nivano Physicians network, urgent care availability, and service updates
- Appointment and care reminders — when applicable and with your consent
- Organizational news — information about Nivano Physicians programs and community health initiatives
We do not send unsolicited bulk commercial email. All marketing emails are sent only to individuals who have subscribed or otherwise provided permission.
How We Identify Our Emails
All commercial emails from Nivano Physicians will:
- Clearly identify Nivano Physicians, Inc. as the sender in the “From” name
- Use subject lines that accurately reflect the content of the email
- Include our physical mailing address in every email:

- Include a visible and functioning unsubscribe link in every email
How to Unsubscribe
You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from Nivano Physicians at any time using any of the following methods:

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message. Clicking this link will immediately process your opt-out request.

We will process all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. During this processing period, you may receive one or two additional emails before the opt-out is fully implemented.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional or appointment-related communications related to your care.
HIPAA and Patient Communications
Email communications related to your medical care, treatment, or health insurance coverage may also be subject to HIPAA privacy protections. Medicare-Related Email Communications
Email communications that discuss Medicare Advantage plan benefits, enrollment periods, or specific plan features are subject to CMS Communications and Marketing Guidelines (42 C.F.R. §§ 422.2260 et seq.).
