Submit an Application
This is an easy process and the CalFresh website will guide you through the process. It should take about ten minutes.
Submit Proof of your Situation
Submit items such as your identification card, pay stubs and/or rent receipts. You can either add this to your application immediately or add any time in the next 30 days.
Conduct an Interview with a County Employee
Once you submit your application, you will need to complete a 30 to 60-minute interview over the phone or in person
Money for Groceries
If you are approved, you will get an EBT card that you can use for groceries within 30 days.
